I don't see why U should be slowed down for carrying motes they aren't necessarily heavy objects And you'd probably have to rework the prophecy motes Aren't they the same thing or at least similar?

The motes would only be the same in appearance. Prophecy motes are picked up automatically while with my motes you have to hold e (if playing on pc) to pick them up. And when I say pick them up I don’t mean you’re actually holding it, you can still use your weapons and all of your abilities. You would be holding motes the same way you currently “hold” motes in gambit. So while you would be slowed down you wouldn’t be defenseless.
