You say your internet isn't great but it is stable. Perhaps it is not even close to stable enough to support D2 PVP? Please run the test I have provided on a Laptop/PC. Run the 1st test to the nearest default server it gives you and the 2nd test to a location at least 2000 miles from you. It gives you 4 results that are ping/jitter/download/upload. Can you please provide this forum with the information from those tests I think it will prove interesting and relevant to the problems you have been having. D2 requires far far far far far more stability than anything else you will play that is why other games seem to work fine but this one is giving you problems.

  • Hey there thanks for the reply, i done a test with local server via fusion then one around 2300miles out and this is the results. https://i.gyazo.com/06c3102d6a857a1f067cd1f8462574bf.png Not entirely sure on what distance would have to do with this tho as i would still get a game now and then with a good connection which is hosted near me (Which has never happened). Not to mention in like 15years of playing online i haven't once came across this issue, even if i was playing on NA servers (I live in UK) they are still a constant 90-120ms which doesn't even feel anywhere near as bad. Anyway ty for reply just thought i would add as much information as possible to try make it easier.

Those numbers are far to low to play D2 PVP. There is no way that will support D2 PVP activities with less than half a meg upload. D2 is not run on servers for PVP. You connect with other players and the connection must be 100% rock stable at all times with other players. Overall speed isn't the biggest factor but 8 meg download and 0.47 up is nowhere near what is required to play D2 PVP activities.

hmm weird, doesn't make much sense. If destiny needs waay more then surely it would be using up almost all my upload bandwith therefore making me lag in turn ? where MS would increase. This is not the case outside of destiny, the game will lag but my MS on discord, watching videos, even being logged into a completely different game at the same time are all fine. If i ever upload a high res image then it'll take a while ofc (i know this) which then gives me latency/lag.

  • You are experiencing connection problems you asked for help and I'm trying my best to do that. I'm just a regular gamer like you but I'm telling you those numbers you provided are not going to allow you to play D2 PVP activities. It's just not stable enough by a long shot I'm sorry. Best of luck I've done all I can do to help.
