They could easily add a toggle so that when a PvP playlist is loaded it locks keyboard & mouse, Sam way they lock equipment being changed on nightfalls etc

Xims and cronuses are undetectable pieces of hardware. They trick your console thinking it's receiving console inputs, when in reality it isn't. That's why they're so frowned upon by everyone; they're hardware cheats you can't get caught with.

I suppose a decent way to track sim would be looking at the players movement axis. With wasd keys you have 8 directional movement.

I don't believe a software is capable enough to do that. A human easily detects xim users, but obviously there couldn't be someone looking at player inputs lol. Easiest way to tell for me has been the basic ADAD-strafe. There's a delay on controller, and most people still can't do a perfect line strafe; they'll draw an ellipse with their strafe.

They can’t even tell if one’s using mnk or at least or willing to tell us so even yeah I agree with your idea I doubt they will ever implement it
