Child and stasis turrets are the definition of fun, interesting active abilities but yeah I see your point. Wish they had more

Stasis turrets and Stasis generally were the previous generation, before Witch Queen. Even then in Beyond Light, it's PvE melee was gutted out so it couldn't hit a thrall right in front of you (a PvP overreaction) for months upon months, and in PvP was being dominated by Shatterdiving combo left ludicrously OP for near 18 months. Only NOW is Shadebinder in a comparatively strong position. And masters of the strange forces of the universe that we're meant to be we're still the only class without a Shatter ability. The Wizards have to pump bullets whilst the Tank and the Ninja have abilities. This generation, yes, Child was about the entire new feature worth speaking of in THREE sets of nerfs, unequal access and giveaways. Not remotely good enough.

I would definitely consider stasis as a part of the new generation of abilities. The reworks were meant to bring our old subclass up to par with stasis. Shadebinder also does not need a shatter ability considering how its freezing potential is unmatched. Any waveframe will do the trick just fine. I also wouldn't say all three warlock reworks were nerfs, only solar. Void and arc are both better off after the reworks even though arc isn't very good rn it's still better than it was at the end of the "old generation"
-
I wouldn't say void was better off tbh. It feels about the same.
-
It's not part of the years Light 3.0 reworks which is clearly what the OP is referring to throughout. Void was definitely nerfed too. In particular Devourlock. It can no longer be procced by consuming a grenade making Devour uptime in PvP far less. It was also given away in PvP but Invis in PvP wasn't returned - even on a like-for-like basis of being procced by eg Orbs. Arc was a sell-off like no other. We lost Blink exclusivity. Arc Web exclusivity. Ionic Traces exclusivity. Meanwhile Arc Titan replaced and surpassed Arclock, by far, in using electric grenades. The only recompense for all of those losses was the sprinting sliding meleeing ugly and clunky manoeuvre (-on any Class for that matter). And for all that, and despite Warlock being the only Class without one, it doesn't even OHK. Yes I know about combos, of course that's not a OHK by definition. That's why it's being used at a miserable 2% usage (Trials Report) by higher skilled players.

Did u forget the ez freeze then melee combo warlocks get....
-
If you mean in regards to Shatter, that isn't a Shatter ability. Warlock's only Shatter verb method is through regular damage and kinetic weapons.

Edited by iKARUS: 11/13/2022 4:31:49 PMI'm talking about an ez one two a warlock has that doesn't require measuring distance not throwing yourself in the air. That was just overpowered and still is

I'm sorry did I hear pop the melee around a corner freeze then shotgun immediately after all the while the blast slowing others around it?
