It’s because PvP is and always has been horrifically unbalanced. Any meta that takes the title is something that’s generally overpowered, requires very little skill, and is hard to counter in most scenarios. There’s usually a community uproar when the meta weapons aren’t weapons those people can adequately use or are allowing players to become untouchable. Then there’s the fact that these issues are only amplified by players being “allowed” to use Cronus and Xim, because players essentially become unstoppable while being able to one-tap you and your teammates.
