Removing planetary materials is IMO the worst change in the entire Destiny History and Bungies History

You are literally removing (as you said) a core part of the franchises DNA. Planetary materials give locations more depth, endgame reason and fun. What are folks now intended to do in patrol mode? Grinding glimmer and blue bullcrap no endgame player needs? Doing almost useless patrol missions and public events? Why not just sunset patrol mode altogether when you take away 1/3 of the endgame reasons (Planetary Materials, Public Events/Patrol Missions, Lost Sectors) to go there? Boosting the glimmer drops from public events is pretty useless for some players. I am sitting on 250k max cap glimmer almost ALL THE BLOODY TIME because there is NOTHING to spend it on! What am I supposed to spend my glimmer on now? * I own ALL BUYABLE MODS in the game already. * Shaders and Mods take no glimmer anymore to swap (thank god) so no reason to use it for that. * Infusing stuff for power only really matters in the first season of every game year release (i. e. Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, Witch Queen, etc.) * I don't craft weapons and run around with 7 exotic Forge Balls for the Mars Forge and 50 alloys all the time. I have no reason to buy any from Rahool ever. All this update will do is cause even more reasons why you are constantly on max Glimmer cap and can't do anything useful with it. The only thing that comes up in my mind spontaneously is buying over and over again Trials Tickets to empty your virtual Guardian Portemonnaie. Yes, it makes the game "easier to understand" for returning/new players, but also adds NOTHING to it. My rant about this may be out of line but I absolutely don't support removing game depth from the game to make said game easier to understand for players instead of just adding tutorials to explain said materials in the first place. --- Change Log --- Edit 1: Few specifications updates on sentences.
