Is there bad luck protection at all for touch?
35 raid clears in total, 24 of which are loot based clears. Have done ALL three characters for every week since the raid launched. And not a single touch has dropped. I understand my luck is just terrible but like, is there even an ounce of bad luck protection in place for it?! There is for Eyes, and I think there was for vex. So why is touch for the most part so illusive?
Edit: I’m well aware of the novelty of grinding out weeks of raids for an exotic. Ain’t my first rodeo with destiny raids for that haha. Just an honest question to the devs is all!

Mine dropped yesterday. Two full runs and four cp oryx.

No raids have/had drop protection outside of 1k/Anarchy (EoT does now, but it was bugged for the LONGEST time and split the % across your characters. That has since been fixed) Crunching a 95% chance to [i]not[/i] get it per week, at 24 runs you've a 25% chance to NOT have had a drop. Your chance of having had a SINGULAR drop is TRIPLE not having it 30 runs no ToM is 21% likely 33 is 18% likely 36 is 15% likely And so on The fact that the odds of having a SINGULAR drop are multiplicatively higher than NOT having a drop boggles my mind but the gremlins are going to hit you with "rng gonna rng" And unfortunately I'm in the same boat Collective took me 40 something iirc I think I stopped counting after 42, and at that point, that's an [i]11 fricking percent[/i] chance to have NOT had one drop AT ALL

Only do oryx cp, and buckle up, it took me 42 clears to get vex, I pray you don’t go over that

3 Repliesummm there has only been 21 loot clears bud but thanx and why would u even post that u have 30 some clears that’s meaningless. rng is rng who cares what u want everything just handed to u i got mine on 18th clear and was happy makes things more meaning full -blam!- back in d1 u could go years befor gally would drop if u missed xur selling it. you know exotics are way to easy to get and that’s made them meaningless i don’t even remember my first d2 exotic where as d1 i remember i got hardlight first from black heart mission and was so happy to finally get one

1 ReplyI was well into the 40's on DSC before eyes dropped and some clan mates were at nearly 60 runs...their typical MO is to let the season end and some time next season claim the drop protection isn't working as intended then actually turn it on.
