  • Reporting someone for teamkilling you is the equivalent of asking for a manager when you are not allowed to ride the mobility scooter when you can clearly walk on your own. Don't be ThatGuy...

Reporting someone for griefing, when griefing is a reportable offence is not the equivalent of asking the a manager to make an exception to the rules. Stop comparing apples to cats. Also, just an FYI, I'm usually the dude putting people into the wall. I am Thatguy. Edit: Straight up misread you post the first time.

  • The equivalency is that in both cases, you are complaining about nothing. Unless you are trying to flawless in an activity for some triumph, getting killed by a teammate has exactly zero impact on your experience. It is really no different than being Misadventured by tripping over a rock or getting hit by a Phalanx shield, sometimes things happen. To add, who exactly gets to define what "griefing" means? One could argue that throwing away treasures in Expeditions is "griefing", but in fact, it is the only reliable way to get Ruffian kills, which is required for the Seal. One could argue that speedrunning Strikes is "griefing" because it ruins the ability for other players to stay behind and get kills for bounties. One could argue getting extremely high kill streaks in PVP is "griefing" because it ruins the PVP experience for the other team. "Griefing" is so incredibly subjective and will never be grounds for any sort of ban unless it is accompanied by some other bannable offense.

  • "getting killed by a teammate has exactly zero impact on your experience" Well, that's flat out not true for most people, for you maybe but I doubt it. Umm ok, and? I'm not banning people and I'm not the one that determines what griefing is in Destiny, Bungie does. That's why I recommended reporting the person to Bungie.

  • Report what? I have a video of an A-Hole that kills one person, then kills me with a sword at the end of a Dares of Eternity, then they leave before one can report them. And Bungle will do nothing anyhow. I've reported people in gambit with a Video clearly showing them, they still play today.
