I figured out a few years ago how we all get screwed with destiny 2. I enjoy the game and spend money on it..so i'm part of the problem. Take the free 2 play part... If you look at other F2P games, the whole game is free .the base game. You buy for cosmetics and maybe characters, stuff most of us can live without. But with Bungie and destiny 2... It's not F2P really, most of the foundation of the game is locked behind paywalls...the other thing is entirely new weapons that are pay 2 win (in some cases) and that's not F2P. The business model is not in our favour, only Bungie. What bugs me the most though is the cost of expansions and the little content you get really. Same with weapons .. exactly the same weapon -blam!- others before it but they put a new skin on it and a new name. And don't get me started on sunsetting/vaulting content that players bought for real money...i have no idea why any of us accept it. It's fake and most of us know this. Every other game can expand without removing. "If they kept all planets the main menu would be cluttered" Heard about mass effect or elite dangerous? You go into the star map and from there have access to eeeeeeverything. If what Bungie say's is true...then why don't spend time and money on expanding? The game been out 5 years... You could easily have worked on resolving this. It's BS if you ask me. But... i'm still here, been spending roughly $300 since launch (bought the game on release) and own every expansion, played most season passes. All the above is why i can't get my friends to download it. They don't have access and "advertising" and buy this, you need this, can't play this pop up everywhere.... F2P? Nah... Not even close
