That's just an assumption. It took their lead engineering team months to fix the ammo bug back in vanilla D1. actually, it's not an assumption when this is bungies pattern. plus, the team that worked on d1 is long gone, and a much lesser version of bungie is what we have now. not only that, they are more greedy than ever, so fixing something from seasons ago isn't a priority.
