It’s already solid in in pve, in pvp no thanks, it was outright busted and more OP on PC than last word on console, if anyone says otherwise they’re full of -blam!-.

  • That's nonsense n you know it. Ntte is more broken and has higher usage than dmt ever has and still isn't addressed either lol. Which just proves the point that dmt was gutted simply because it's an mnk weapon. If a weapon is a cheesy aim bot on controller that's fine but good on mnk n it's omggg nerf!!

    I’m not saying ntte isn’t broken, you’re the one bringing that up in a discussion about DMT, it needs a nerf. But when DMT was in its prime it was broken as hell, we don’t need that back, and your point wasn’t proven, and no fits were thrown except maybe on your end, so nice try kiddo, keep going! You’ll get there one day.

It's to point out how it's treated entirely differently simply because controller players can abuse it too. Bungie says cranial spike 2 taps aren't fair, but let's high impact pulses 2 tap with no setup at all and you dullards are too slow in the head to see how this is a problem. Matter a fact you even think it's a good thing cuz omggg can't hip fire aim bot dmt!!!!

This thread is an example of it. Do you see people making posts to buff last word on controller after its recent nerf? Of course not because unless you are absolutely awful n relied on it turning stomach shots into precision shots you wouldn't even notice this last word nerf. They barely nerfed it and were overly cautious about it. Compare to dmt getting completely destroyed with multiple nerfs in a much much shorter amount of time. This was clearly because of controller players throwing fits about dmt. Hell they even did a change between nerf 2 and 3 to buff dmt for controller. Where is the buff to make last word usable? Where is the nerf to other weapons that do the same thing as dmt but are even better at it? Oh they don't need a nerf cuz they are ridiculously easy to use on controller as well. There are other blatant outliers too. Sniping on controller is an absolute joke. Quite a few of my friends play on controller and we play multiple other fps games together. In other games they do okay, we come on d2 and it's snipe after snipe and they just laugh at how pathetically easy controller sniping is on d2. Then anytime I play trials I see this nonsense where I'm hit by these hilarious snipes followed by the player having the worst bot walk movement on the planet and absolute trash awareness. Yet they don't miss snipes and even if you do get close they pull out last word and you get lasered by it. You can't have the reticle auto chase targets to this ridiculous level on one shot precision weapons and expect people to not get pissed. I've been shot through flinch so much by controller snipers it's ridiculous. Linears, side arms, slug shotguns, smgs and pulses are all also training wheels on controller. I have ran into wallah, goldxgle n such in crucible and even they don't laser you down instantly like an average controller player can with certain weapon types. I'm not going to go into detail on every weapon type but the bottom line is the reticle stickiness needs toned down. If I'm in a 1v1 strafe battle with someone and they aim the wrong way they do not deserve to keep tracking me perfectly. Which regardless of what people like to pretend is exactly what happens. Controller players love to down play this, yet a common occurrence on the forums is controller players complaining that the aim assist is so powerful that it can yank their reticle onto a different target even if they try to aim in the opposite direction. It does the same ridiculously aggressive auto tracking of targets even in a 1v1 the difference is controller players obviously don't care when it cooperates with them n hands them a win. They pretend it was them aiming and attack anyone saying otherwise even though they themselves make forum posts proving otherwise. The game should not be dampening your inputs n auto tracking targets for you. This is such an absurd aim assist system that it really blows my mind when I see people constantly defending it and down playing what it does. If this was in another game it would be considered an aim bot. Before some idiot says "mnk has aim assist too!!!" yes it does. It has larger hit boxes just like controller but it does not have the 2 other types of aim assist that make controller ridiculous. The reticle does not move on its own and the game does not ignore your inputs when you aim in the wrong direction on mnk. So yes I'm not trying to take your aim assist away. I want it to be toned down and do what the name implies, it should "assist" not auto aim pilot for awful players.

    I’m not disagreeing with you kiddo, I too have a huge problem with ntte, it’s a cheap crutch that helps bad players, the whole point of the created topic was “buff dead man’s tale” and I stated how bad it was before it got nerfed.
