They shouldn’t be separately charged anyway. Bungie already makes bank on the DLCs, seasons, and eververse so why do dungeons cost extra? At least Prophecy was free.

When they have people throwing money on them even with quad dipping on paywall, they'll take another step. I won't be surprised if strikes are chopped for "strikes pass" that you pay $40 for only a 2 hours story before getting pop ups to buy more

Edited by BOSSNONO254: 9/29/2022 12:53:39 PMI guess you can say anything they can make money on., they’ll just keep doing and maybe increase more avenues that lead towards more money. It’s kind of sad really! Yeah the employees need to get paid as well. But aspects like that reflect negatively on the company.

Maybe the employees got mad for wasting their time on prophecy because they didn’t get profits from it? If so, then that’s like complaining about doing something that is clearly your job to be doing in the first place.

The profit margins on Eververse are absolutely insane so no, this argument holds no merit.

Edited by BOSSNONO254: 9/29/2022 12:51:53 PMThen I believe dungeons should automatically come with every expansion/season with no separate charge. I mean yeah sure it’s new content that probably takes up a good portion of the game. But I know not everyone can afford that every other season. I myself don’t mind paying for it, but I find it kind of pointless if Bungie has other ways to increase their revenue/profits.

But what bungie did was dirty. The dungeon we got was themed to the season directly. And the opulent weapons were also tied to the season itself. So how do they get to charge us double, for 2 things that are designed to be played together? If the dungeon had been totally different from the seasonal theme. Totally offset weapons from the seasonal theme. Dialogue separate from the seasonal theme. Then MAYBE I could say it was fair (which I don't think it was). But how they executed this was a dirty move on their behalf. Total scum running bungie if they think that was okay.

Great name by the way. Wonderful Halo reference!

Prophecy was one of the main things driving players back to play the season, so it’s a pretty clear way to keep player numbers up. Considering current business models, concurrent player numbers is what most companies care about.
