Crashing to desktop
EDIT: IT STARTED WORKING!! I HAVENT CHANGED ANYTHING ON MY END. All I did was restart my PC one last time tried the game and now it works.

Having the same problem. Tried everything I could think of or suggested by others. Just posting here to make sure Bungie knows more than just a handful of people are having this issue.
