If you put up an LFG, it means that you are willing to be patient.
Unless the LFG says "Chill" or "Willing to teach" you are making a presumption. While I don't condone kicking someone AFTER the activity is completed, I will not hesitate to kick someone that is either toxic or not listening. You only posed one side of the argument. What were you doing that you felt was the reason you were kicked? Were you dying more than other people? Were you missing callouts? Were you toxic? I'm genuinely asking, not trolling, because I've never been part of a group that kicked me for no reason. Not saying it doesn't happen. Just saying that it's rare. And by using your quote above, I feel like you're leaving part of the story out.

  • Something I’ve been having to do more and more frequently is kick people who are looking for a carry. If I put “have clears, quick run” on my post for a raid team, I am not signing up to teach people. Yet people with no raid experience still join, claiming to have done the raid before, and then complain that I’m not teaching them the raid.

  • Yeah but that’s not kicking right at the end of a boss kill. You know pretty quick if someone doesn’t know what’s going on… it doesn’t take until the end of an hour activity.

  • I don’t kick at the end. Usually after said person causes a wipe 5 times or so.

  • That's fine. Your team your rules. Especially if you laid them out on your post.

  • If you put "have clears" check raid report before you start, so you can kick them immediately. That's not toxic. You literally have it in your LFG post. I do the same, but in the opposite direction. When I go for the carry emblem I ask for 0 clear people. If you hop on and have a clear I immediately kick.

There is a clan that I've ran into on LFG that boots all of the LFG's before the final chest. They've never completed a raid with a full fire team unless it's clan mates and there are YouTube videos about them. I was lucky and received messages from some saint on LFG when they saw I joined their post. They warned me, I looked at their raid report and called them out 🤣 they all have since set their stats to private to hide what they do. Such bot behavior.. sad thing is they were pretty bad. Glad I left before running the raid with them, would've been a giant waste of time. I also know of a YouTuber who's entire "content" is being toxic AF to LFG people and booting them before the final chest. Unsure how he isn't banned but 🤷‍♂️

  • You won't know if the OP has anything to hide. Right now this topic is meant for attention. Saying I was not pulling my weight, bad player, etc would throw this topic into the sewer.

  • Not necessarily. This person can admit to making some mistakes...or many...dying a little...or a lot. If I can complete an activity with terrible players, I still wouldn't kick them at the end if they listened to instruction and just needed to get better. But that's just me...

  • Remember back in the day they would say screenshot or it didn't happen? Lol. People always have some sort of story to tell and always omit specific details.

  • Of course. Certain people will always paint themselves as the victim. Which is why I asked OP what they meant by the quoted line in my reply.

  • Booting for belligerence, not listening or being.toxic.are.fine...no one's got time for that. Why would.anyone join an lfg and behave like that? Mystifying!

  • If you're being toxic or unhelpful, you get kicked promptly. If you get kicked at the end of the Raid, the Ft leader is the toxic one.

What they are complaining about is being kicked AFTER it's completed to prevent them from getting the final rewards. I've had more than one friend this has happened to. They go through the whole activity without any issue and as soon as it's completed they were kicked so they couldn't get the rewards. If they were a problem they should have been kicked, but it's bullshit to wait until the activity is done and then kick them.

  • I know this exists. I never said it didn't. I just said it hasn't happened to me, and I don't see millions of posts about this issue. I remember when Outriders came out this was a RAMPANT issue. So much so that the developer patched the game to make rewards spawn immediately (I believe you had to open a chest to receive rewards. People were getting kicked before they could open it). Sure, there are still people out there that could get around this by kicking you when the boss is at "1hp", but you'll still have the checkpoint. Just make your own LFG at that point and report the original person.

  • I was under the impression that once the activity was completed, the reward was automatic. This is a fine line for sure as it could be that people are kicked just prior to the final boss kill. Am I wrong, are the rewards dependant on opening the chest? lol playhing the game almost daily for hours and I have no clue on this one.

It's usually not very long, like 2-3 seconds. There is like a sound that plays when the activity actually counts as complete and at that point the reward would just go to the postmaster. That's what makes this so shitty. The people who are doing this are making a real effort to do this. It means that right before the boss is killed someone is in their menu and waiting to kick you as soon as it's done, but rather than kick you right before the boss is complete they wait until just after because I guess to them it's funnier that way.
