It's still good depending on the situation.
For example: kings fall - 3 of the 4 bosses are too far away or too small to use blade barrage, or mobius quiver.
Also don't forget that you get like a 20-30% buff to golden gun with the right aspect while your radiant.
That being said, I wouldn't mind if it got a damage bump since it requires more skill than other supers. Maybe damage an enemy would cause them to ignite. This would add like 25k more damage vs bosses

So? The 3 GG shots still do more damage than the single nighthawk shot.... what is your point?

Celestial still does more damage but it's only about 20% more. (Or atleast pre solar 3.0) Also keep in mind in a raid setting you typically have 15-30 seconds for dps. So 1 Celestial vs 3 golden guns let's you get back to your heavy weapon dps faster. As stated in my original reply, it's still good but could use some help since it requires more skill than other 1 shot supers.

Again I do agree it could use some help, but there is also only 15% difference in damage between the 2 exotics(assuming you land 100% crits while radiant) However star eaters requires set up + it takes 3x longer to fire all 3 shots. While celestial is a bust exotic, you have no set up, fire 1 shot then get back to heavy weapons dps.
