So true. Ridiculous how long it has taken to fix the Bell glitch.

  • It's actually SUPER complicated. It isn't as simple as normal coding where there is a world, and something is not working within it. Instead it is during the act of teleporting from one world to another, cause the nightmare relm is a different world, that is -blam!-. It's a VERY hard thing to even begin to think of fixing from a video game coders position. Remember how Antibarrier Sidearm Mod tooks so many weeks to even fix? Well this bell issue is way more complex than it and Bungie isn't actually at fault this time.

  • Hi. Onecquestion. Why do you say that bingau is not at fault in this case? Honest question.

  • Just not a matter of them -blam!- up like they usually do. This time it is actually a matter of the issue being so complex itself that it actually takes so much time to resolve. Not a matter of Bungie being oblivious in general like they usually are.

  • Sorry to say this, but if this issue was not here at the begining, when the dungeon was released, then this bug appeared later, then it is their fault. I am ignorant, so, as many will say, my opinion is equal to nothing, but...if you release a product...isn't there a quality control team to check on those things? Look, I know there way too many issues to check when you program anything. A 2 instead of a 1 can break the game, like aliens colonial marines...but still...they chose to release a product without checking it in detail. I believe what you say that an issue like that could take a long time to fix. That being said, I disagree with you, it is their fault for releasing a defective product. Also..that bug was reported many, many, many weeks ago and just last week they acknoledge it? What about the red border glitch during the first ketchcrash of the week? Both bugs are affecting the players time and gameplay. Also...when there are bugs that are useful to us, they fix them right away (solstice overflow bug for example, 1 week after the event started, stupidly fun with 4th HM) Duality bells? 1 month at least? Maybe more?

You are wrong. I had it happen on my very first run of Duality which was as soon as it released. It has gotten much worse, and more common, but it has always been a glitch in the dungeon. The more coding the cram into this game, the worse Duality runs inevitably. Think of it as a car. If there is water in the gas tank then it will studder but the more water you put in there the worse the car's engine becomes, eventually destroying it all together though just a few droplets of water in the tank is harmless. Honestly they probably knew it was an issue but you gotta remember they profit off Duality by selling individual Dungeon keys so their priority was probably to get it out on time, regardless the product being defective. It's Bungie. Does that even surprise you?

  • I didn't knew about the bell bug being there since release, I just heard about it since the begining of plunder and it never happened to me (lucky me, I guess). About surprised by bangeu? Not in the least. Actually, I have the theory that stormchaser charge time was not a bug, but planned as intended, to entice players to buy dungeons for an amazing weapon. Bengea tested the waters and we fell for it. And sorry, again, but your last answer gives me the reason about being their fault. You said that it was not their fault as usual. With what you just said, about being there from the start...yeah...it is their BS and ALL of these problems is their fault, no way to justify them.

  • I simply agree with what you said Logan. And I wouldn't be surprised Stormchaser being made o.p.. to sell more dungeon keys. Making people have to pay to win.
