Recovery already is very useful, mobility isn’t, there is 0 reason for titan and warlock to use mobility

I used to run 100 mobility / resilience till finally switching to 100 resilience / recovery for pvp. However, I have ALWAYS missed the feel of 100 mobility ever since. To the point that recently I fiddled with my gear to end up with some builds at 80 mob / 100 res / 80 rec. Warlock Main btw. [i]Gunship[/i]

We are talking about a fraction of a second sooner. Both mobility and recovery is kinda pointless outside the class abilities. Especially with healing grenades. Worm husk, the stag, karnstein armlets, secant filaments, precious scars, loreley splendor and crest of alpha lupi. Then u got crimson, Suros and vigilance wing. Every single of of those exotics will get u health faster than tier 10 recovery. Honestly unless ur on warlock u can run 1-2 recovery and get the health needed to survive more often when u need it with any of the above listed than tier 10 recovery. Recovery in this game with such small maps as a whole is a joke.

  • I hate to do this, but Recovery is very important in Crucible. Maybe if you increased yours, your KD will finally be over a 1.00!

And I got above a 1.00 KD 😂 I’m not top 10% but I got a 1.05 in trials and a 1.12 in QP and a 1.08 overall. I run 100 recovery cause why not. Mobility does nothing for me and I wanna be ready for if/when they buff recovery.

  • [quote]I don't think you've even used any of those exotics or understand how recovery works.[/quote] I have never won a 3v1 or a 2v1 because of my recovery nor have I lost even a 1v1 because someone’s recovery was at 10. But I’ve won more than I can count with one eye mask, worm husk and karnstein armlets that anyone should. And lost plenty from those same exotics. There was a whole season I dropped my recovery to 6 and my seasonal KD didn’t drop at all, in fact it went up and I played the whole season as a invis hunter wormhusk. Recovery was the best because it was the only thing that did anything. Resilience didn’t even matter for titans. 50 resilience vs 100 resilience is what 10 seconds longer for a barricade 😂 I’d take a flinch reduction over the minimal difference in recovery. Difference between being in red and full health from 6 recov to 10 recov. Less than 2 seconds. Ten recov is still over 5 seconds. I’d rather have something that helps win the fight in the moment than something that does literally nothing and doesn’t help till a minimum of 5 seconds later. Difference between 6 recov and 10 recov after getting hit with about 50 damage is about 1 second. Never once in a fight ever was I like “wow I’m glad I was at ten recovery😂” however I have been thankful for the flinch reduction and the health boosts from exotics and healing grenades.

  • I disagree with your reasoning, but use what you want. Karnatein and One eyed don't help you with 1v1 situations. The difference between 8 recovery and 10 recovery completely regenerating health is 1 second, and the values get significantly worse the lower recovery you get.

U don’t start recovering till u don’t take damage for the full 5 seconds. But one eye karnstein worm husk gives u health instantly and while one eye and Karnatein won’t win 1v1 they win 1v2 or a 1v1 right after another 1v1.

  • If you back off the 1v1 and are able to re-engage first, then having high vs low recovery makes a big difference. Karnstein and One eye will never help you in a true 1v1.

Worm husk with double kickstart will get u to full health or almost full health depending on damage in about the time 10 recov would.
