You know what would be better? If they actually worked! Your supposed to pick up more ammo with them on, right? Well explain to me how you sometimes only pick up 2 ammo for an LFR and sometimes you pick up 7, or 8.. does the description say “sometimes you pick up more and sometimes you pick up less”?
And what about the finder mods? If I’m running a sword and a sniper for example.. I’ll put on sword ammo finder and guaranteed I will get 2x more sniper ammo than sword ammo.
Bungie broke their own game and they don’t care about fixing it either.

Their are 3 types of ammo bricks in the game. -Naturally occurring ammo bricks, these are dictated by time elapsed and augmented by time spent in combat. These have the most ammo. -Finder bricks, these bricks are exclusive generated via finder mods that trigger after Y kills. They also have less ammo then Natural bricks [b]OR ARE OUT RIGHT BUGGED[/b], the bug being they only produce 1 bullet and can not be effected/gain benefit from scavengers. -Perk generated bricks, these are generated via mods/abilitys such as special ammo finisher, or aeon gaulents. These have less ammo then Natural ammo bricks but more ammo then finder bricks. Trust me Im the ammo guy, cheese forever did a vid on my findings I brought to him.

That's supposed to be the difference between ammo finder bricks and regular drops. I do agree it probably needs to be adjusted but that's why it's so random.
