Claims it “disappeared from inventory” but posts a vid of him dismantling it. You can’t make this up!
Nothing “bugged” about it. You clearly still had the 1 shot quest version. Had to finish quest to get 2 shot full version. Now, you need to buy from monument in tower to get full version.

also if you're referring to my title it is the truth. If I dismantle a weapon and it is no longer obtainable in my collections it straight up disappeared. Obviously I would never attempt to contradict myself by dismantling something then claiming it randomly disappeared. My exotic collection is tied to my inventory everything from my inventory can be obtained through my collection so I would never lie about something actually just up and vanishing.

But it didn’t “disappear” from your inventory or collection. It was never in your collections…as only the full version is from collections. So once you buy full version from kiosk, then it will open in collections.

when did I ever claim it disappeared from my inventory? In the first sentence I literally say that I dismantled it to reacquire it from collections lol. Why would they take the quest out of the game and leave someone with a cursed version of the weapon that they now need to pay for with 240 spoils all because they didn't complete a quest lol. Why wouldn't they make it so there's a new way to finish the gun instead of literally forcing me to dismantle it because the quest is no longer in the game??? You're talking about this like its a completely normal thing but other games don't just make weapons in your inventory useless because they vaulted content.

1. Your post title says it “disappeared”. Did you forget what you wrote? 2. They removed the quest because they vaulted the area the quest needed. And they told us about this several months before it occurred…so plenty of time to actually finish quest. 3. Your gun wasn’t useless. It could still be used, albeit not to the full potential of the full gun. 4. We aren’t talking about other games. We are talking about Destiny2.

1. I elaborated on the Disappeared in the title, It's an exotic that I had but can't use to its fullest potential even though it is literally in my inventory and it should be registered as me owning it. Quest or not a gun in an inventory is a gun you own lol. Destiny is the only weird game that I've ever played that does stuff like this and its absurd. 2. I took a very long break from destiny way before beyond light dropped. Its ridiculous to think you would have to rebuy a weapon you technically own because of a quest and even more ridiculous that they wouldn't do any more planning ahead with vaulting other than "do everything before it goes away haha" 3. The gun without the complete version is basically useless. Yes you can still use it to shoot things and as a weapon but in a practical sense it might as well be decoration. 4. It's ok to make comparisons when talking about literally anything. No game I've ever played in my entire life has vaulted content and made me worry if something I have is going to be useless or not so this is not a common thing to expect whatsoever. It's baffling to think that you can take long breaks from games and can come back to things that you own being useless because you didn't do 1 quest before you stopped playing lol.
