How TF did we get sbmm before a clash playlist??

Did you all ever notice the extremely skilled players in control never captured zones and just played for kills? Yea, it's because that's all they want to do, D2 needs a permanent clash playlist and I bet money that would've lessened the amount of higher end players in control, clash has always been more skill based because there is no buffer like the zone points in control. If you don't get kills, your team will lose. The fact that they implemented sbmm before clash and before freelance mode for both control and clash is mind boggling. Stacks were always a bigger problem than high KD players lol. Seems like you guys just skipped a few steps. Sbmm is going to go down the same route it did before smh, we've already been through this.

  • Because the SBMM playlist is supposed to put you into your ranking before everything else becomes SBMM. That way there isn't such a stark contrast in all PvP modes. This is why the most popular PvP mode was selected to become SBMM. This is also why penalties are in place. It's not that it ruins the experience of other players, it's because leaving doesn't help what Bungie is trying to do.

    • Nah cause they would realize they all moved there and everyone else stayed in control so they would just move back to control for videos and ego inflation
