Why can't I unlock (not grind) them by playing activities like Raids, Dungeons or Grandmaster Nightfalls? Why can't I unlock them by playing Trials of Osiris, Survival and Iron Banner? Why do you force every player that wants new exotics to run Lost Sectors solo or pick 1 of 2 exotics from the legendary WQ campaign? The entire design philosophy behind this is strongly ANTI-MULTIPLAYER. You advertise this game as "Destiny 2 is played best with friends", yet you have certain regular items (exotics count as such by now, considering their sheer numbers) locked behind running content solo/alone, without friends. You are forcing players here to make the choice of "do I play with my friends something together in Destiny 2 or do I rather grind some hours to get 1 drop of the new exotic to enable drops of it globally in the daily Lost Sector?" That's not good design. That's ruining the social aspect of the game.
