Running into an issue with Voice Chat not working on my account - but in-game chat [i]does[/i] work on a brand new account. Created on the same PC, using the same D2 files, on the same network.
The speaker icon pops up, but no audio comes through/no indication that they are talking - the icon does not light up.
Have had this issue for months and went through all the networking suggestions of opening/forwarding ports to no avail.
I'll try to list out what I've done in order
* Went through the network setting suggestions by opening ports on router and local firewall
* Confirmed Xbox Game Bar is setup correctly
* Confirmed with ISP that nothing Destiny related is being blocked
* Unlinked Cross Save thinking it was a privacy setting (around the beginning of 2022)
* Setup a new router and copied network settings
* Format PC to start new in case there were Windows file or D2 files issues
* Re-linked, today, Cross Save and reset audio settings to default on Stadia, PS4 and Xbox
None of the above resolved the issue
Then as mentioned in the beginning, I made a brand new Steam account.
This new Steam account is able to hear game chat with nothing special done.
Logged in > launched D2 > joined a party > could hear in-game voice.
Honestly stumped as to what the issue is and hoping someone from Bungie is able to take a look at my account.
