Anyone who is a 1.2KD or better is put into the same pool as Streamers and top 1% sweats, SBMM only protects dudes who play less then 10 games of control a week. Everyone else is now forced to have even worse lobby quality.

If that were the case, then why would 2.0 k/d players be complaining?

It’s varied but in general lobby quality is abysmal this season for myself as a top 500 player and for him being near the 1mil spot

Edited by Desolator0: 9/2/2022 9:40:49 PM100% true. And the skill difference between a 1.2 and 2.0 almost isn't even the same game sometimes. Bungie even admitted in yesterday's TWAB that the extreme low and high-ends of the skill brackets suffer, but the toxic casuals don't care because it benefits Timmy No Thumbs who plays his 3 games and quits.

Yup, it’s seriously an awful system to implement, it’s a short term fix to get casuals to be happy, but what happens when they float upwards and hit that 1.2+ KD? Guess what they will start to exclusively fight those “mean sweats” they have so much hate for

He is right tho I’m average a 1.42 in non competitive match making and I’m constantly matching people that are running 2.0s or are top 500 and its kinda insane how sweaty some of these recent matches I have been in were it’s literally like you said top teir meta bs and still 6 stacked teams running these I’m mid teir I’m still being punished by sbmm control doesn’t feel like control when it’s quite literally easier to win, and more fun to ply their actual COMPETITIVE Playlists. This is honestly the worst I’ve seen crucible since the release of d2 and it’s nearly unplayable because it’s just not relaxing to play quick play anymore. On top of that returning players are getting massively punished by this because the meta is so selective rn and there’s not really any hard counters for it

Yup thats exactly whats happening to myself and my buddy whos only a .8-.9 player. SBMM is the worst thing to happen to PvP since D2 Season 1
