Destiny 2 uses BattlEye, not EAC. Destiny 2 only runs on a native Windows installation; running it on any other platform/emulation/virtual machine will result in a ban.

    Ah, my mistake. BattleEye also supports Linux, so it would be nice to see Bungie be a bit less ambivalent to the platform in general. Thank you

  • Battleye is just one of a number of anti-cheat systems that Bungie uses. All the anti-cheat systems are for Windows nothing else... more so as D2 was created for Windows and you would have to use a emulator to FORCE D2 to work. If you don't like Windows OS play on the Stadia version which was created by Stadia themselves to use other OS.
