Posting this here because of outreach towards Bungie and people in this thread who can't think logically. Currently, Warlocks across all four subclasses have only two exotics that affects any super outside of extra regeneration : Geomags, Dawn Chorus. Currently, Chaos Reach just barely comes close to Thundercrash Cuirass, i think it is the neighborhood of 40-50k below. This damage is WITH Geomags, making it a requirement if you want to run Chaos Reach. Currently, Dawnblade by itself cannot cause scorch. That effect only happens with Dawn Chorus, making it a requirement if you want to run Dawnblade. Chaos Reach takes around half of a damage cycle to fully deal its damage, and the damage figures are only obtainable if the boss doesn't move. By the time Chaos Reach ends, a Thundercrash Titan has already dumped most if not all of their heavy. Dawnblade's damage output is so laughably low that any use outside of PvP is literal trolling. Even then, Dawnlbade is currently bugged, sometimes it wont register a hit on a target (this bug happens in both PvP and PvE). Before the Solar 3.0 changes, Warlocks were asking for a Dawnblade buff or a super that could compete with Well that actually deals damage to targets, viable enough for GM's. During this same time (before the 3.0 revamp) Dawnblade saw two uses : PvP (top tree), one room in one GM (the boss fight arena of Hollowed Lair, Bottom tree). With the 3.0 revamp, top and bottom tree Dawnblade was rolled into one super, meaning that half of the functionality of each tree was either removed or rolled into fragments/aspects. Solar Warlocks did not receive a third super (despite Gunshot still broken down into two supers). Before the Arc 3.0 changes, Warlocks were asking for a buff to Chaos Reach for two reasons : 1. To match the damage profiles of other supers allowing Warlocks to compete and use something in PvE other than Well. 2. It didn't have enough synergy with the subclass to warrant the cast time and time spent away from dumping heavy for DPS. With the 3.0 revamp, Chaos Reach was left untouched, as was most of the subclass. Arc Soul by itself is an Aspect, and there is not an Aspect or Fragment that augments or affects any other damage profile for the subclass. This include Grenades, Melees, Supers. It is also important to note that Tickle Fingers Top and Bottom tree were both rolled into one super, and Warlocks did not receive a third super in it's place.
