They took away the burst glide boost because it made them the fastest class in the game that could kill 2-4 players and then beat them to their own spawn across the map and kill them again.

But golden gun currently doing the same but better without any speed boost is okay? Seventh columns and beyond are even easier with golden gun now, but getting even close to a seventh column with dawnblade was such a tragedy.

Personally I don't see it as better and think it's more map dependent. I'm sure the argument is they have no armor and to just use cover even though it's never that easy.

Dawnblade has many flaws that that golden gun does not suffer from. Poor hit detection Incredibly low duration The super is very vertical in terms of movement and alot of maps have tight low ceiling corridors that work against it. Golden gun is an instant kill on non supers, has hitscan and with solar 3.0, it lasts for forever. It doesn't have armor but it would be the most powerful super in the entire game for pvp if it did have super armor. As it currently stands golden gun beat out daybreak all day long. Hunter solar 3.0 in general is better than warlock solar 3.0.

Not disputing that. Just don't think golden gun is as crazy as old dawnblade is all.
