I wouldn't say favorite in all the years I played destiny I can clearly tell bungie has a hard time identifying the hunter it has a huge identity crisis giving it multiple roles but not the kit to help it making it was basically the jack of all trades class with kit suited more for PvP then PvE Hunter is a great place now let's be honest the only time ppl asked for a hunter was to tether boss making all other classes useless then overtime ppl stop asking for hunters in general for endgame content This class get the most and the fastest nerfs in the whole game due to pvp complaints some are justified some are not due to it class popularity in pvp
