If you want to keep an item, REMOVE IT FROM THE POSTMASTER.
Well keep reminding you that postmaster isn't storage until it gets through your head.

It literally is storage. If you leave 5 items in your postmaster, come back in 3 months, it will still be there stored, in one of your several storage spaces of your mail storage. That's exactly how mailbox's work. It's not designed to be permant storage, but it's definitely a storage area. It's not unreasonable for players to ask for a spam filter since even your email has had one since the dawn of time, and so does multiple games. It's not a new concept.

Bungie themselves have repeated it is not storage. They've even said don't keep items in there as you WILL lose them. It's your own fault if anything g in the postmaster is lost
