I like it. Unlikely for Bungie to perform such a change though.

I don’t think it’s super crazy of a change in practically they have the format in place you just add sidearm archetypes into lucky pants and then basically have whatever is setup for the melee exotics to work and copy paste that into mechaneers lol so in practical terms in not really hard they aren’t creating anything from scratch it just comes down to if bungie wants to change exotics which I don’t really know of an exotic has ever fundamentally been changed per say they changed lucky pants whole function before so you never know I just think it’s wierd that mechaneers was the sidearm exotic when lucky pants perfectly could’ve applied to hand cannons & sidearms as like I said they are both “pistols” sidearm/revolver whatever and could be holstered together.

Yeah I agree it wouldn’t be that crazy of a change. But based on how much time it takes them to change things a lot of the time. They have a large list of things they constantly are working on, and while this seems like a practical change it’s not has important as many other things. Let alone to think they would even be aware of this idea.
