And in pve 80% of players run warlock
-
They may run a Warlock, but it surely isn't their main. The amount of "PvE Only" Warlocks I see absolutely sucking the hardest -blam!- at the most basic jumping puzzles in strikes, Raids and Dungeons is so high they should just delete that class from their profile and stick with their Hunter or Titan. I'm also willing to bet that most Titan and Hunter mains just have a Warlock for 1 of 2 reasons. 1. In PvE, they got tired of nobody on their team having a Div/Well or they just have one they dump weapons on for power level so they can get 3 Looted drops from weeky raids/dungeons. 2. They made it went Top Tree Dawn was the best PvP subclass uncontested back in the day and now it just sits there in the dark, only to be busted out again when bungie pulls a Bungo and makes something else on the Warlock OP as hell in pvp for a week. Like Chaos Geos, Og Nova Warp, og cold snap Shadebinder, Reworked Arc web grenades, etc...
-
Nope. I had a warlock for the sole reason of playing something different. No reason to only play 1 class and have a alt and the other the same one for example.
-
I played all three fairly evenly throughout D1 and early D2 then I just stayed with Warlock and Titan and pretty much only used Hunter for extra raid and dungeon drops.
-
The speed community or anyone with simple movement tech plays a lock because lock is the fastest and best for movement in speed environments.
-
Edited by WulfPak666: 8/19/2022 10:15:34 PMThe speedrun community doesn't make up 80% of the pve playebase, that's for sure.
-
They may not but you can't argue the fact that 80% of players or more that you see are on warlock
-
Oddly enough out of all the PvE I've run this season, including Raids and whatnot, most randoms I've seen have been Titans. I saw a lot of Warlocks trying Sunbracers and whatnot at the beginning, but not so much anymore. Hunter still run pvp in most of my lobbies, unless it's Zone Control Trials. Bubbles and Wells all day. Everyone have different lobbies so you could be seeing a lot more Warlocks. I usually don't see many in PvE on patrols or strikes.
-
I'm a titan main and always am in raids and strikes with 2 locks in strikes and the minimum of 4 locks in raids
-
That's crazy how much locks you have. Maybe they need their big ol Titan to protect them? I'm a Jazz hands myself and I guess I'm in a "avoid this player" matchmaking because I rarely get other locks.
-
Lol its funny to hear the difference of matchmaking, but that's how it is sometimes
-
80% sounds like an accurate number to me, obviously a man of intellect.
-
warlocks make up the other 19.8% You might see a titan once in a couple games
-
I'd agree with this, I started off playing titan but changed to warlock, I've just given up now and run a hunter, it's what bungie want.
-
Source "trust me bro" Also if you remember as guardian games were beginning this year, warlock was the most played class when Bungie posted the statistic:)
-
Lol that is a bare faced fabrication. I almost admire your complete lack of shame.

Edited by Keep Crying Hunters: 8/19/2022 3:40:18 PMhttps://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/51274 Sure. You'll just ignore the almost 40% warlock play rate when witch queen dropped. Hunter took the lead after, but it appears you just don't know what you're talking about with "80% play rate"
-
'Titans, having placed 3rd the most days, will have the largest boost. Warlocks, with the second most days in 3rd place, will get a moderate boost. Hunters, having placed 3rd the least number of times, will get the smallest boost.' Yup, those poor hunters, nobody plays them...
-
Now you're changing your argument because you realize that you're factually incorrect and made a gross overstatement. Good job, buddy!
-
Thanks, i'll take your congratulations as an apology for your blatant falsehoods. Buddy.

Edited by Bore: 8/19/2022 4:00:12 PM
Thanks, i'll take your congratulations as an apology for your blatant falsehoods. Buddy.
I mean, they literally showed you the statistics for the time around witch queen. Warlocks were the most played for the launch of witch queen and the day one raid release. Both coinciding with the release of difficult pve content.
-
To be fair that information is now outdated and Coincided with not only a new dlc launch but a new season and the preparation weeks for a whole new raid. and when preparing for a new raid Warlock population tend to gain a temporary uptick in players using them because if one job is required for day ones it's almost always a well of radiance user.

Fake news.

Edited by Keep Crying Hunters: 8/19/2022 3:54:45 PMI posted a link to the graphical statistic included in the TWAB that indicates every class play rate for 2 months post Witch Queen, posted by Bungie themselves. Where are your statistics?
