I strongly disagree with your assessment. Destiny 2 is and unfortunately has been turned into a point and shoot pvp game for quite some time. Yes the cheating is quite the bother. All the fun that destiny had in pvp was all the cool alternative ways to kill opponents . FPS video games are are basically all the same when it comes to pvp now. Boring. Predictable. Destiny stood out head and shoulder above them all because you could kill with abilities and grenades as you could with pointing and shooting. Unless you have the tools to weapons fire with pin point accuracy and light speed rapid fire 🔥 you can’t have a fun pvp experience now. OHK melee and grenades buffs need to come back in pvp.

There are 128 guns that can OHK not counting exotics. Not adding in the ability spam and supers. All that on maps that either 1 are far to small to accommodate the ranges of OHK weapons or 2 the spawns are so bad that ur always out of the fight. Never mind the fact that about 50% of weapon archetypes are not viable and the ones that are viable have a laughable amount of aim assist that there are hundreds of videos of ppl aiming at a toe and getting a crit. Ur stats doesn’t matter, resilience helps flinch? Not enough to make it noticeable. Mobility only helps hunters and recovery is pointless now that everyone has healing grenades/Lorley splender/worm husk ect. The only stat that matters is the stat for ur class ability. Reload and handling don’t matter for warlocks or hunters. Ophidian and dragon shadow. All these things I never noticed cause I was a bungie fan boy devoted to the game for 7 years. I’m sorry but there is a reason literally no other gaming community takes destiny players seriously. The only ppl who think destiny is a skill game are destiny players. I can’t make a 3 hour minimum video about all the problems with pvp and the complete lack of quality it has compared to any other major AAA pvp game.

In your opinion. Obviously based on my opinion, OHK melee and buffs on grenades are not in the same category as OHK weapons. I’m uncertain what yours is, but my only intention in pvp is to kill before I get killed as quickly as possible. I don’t wanna hug first or have choreographed shoot outs. Let there be punching, knifing, hammering, head butting to kill. Instantly! I wanna be able to blindside or throw something at a floating warlock with the notion that I can possibly take them out if I connect. By any means. Except cheating. These silly words like spamming are meant to be demeaning. That’s all any action is in a video game. You repeatedly press the corresponding button. There is no such thing as a cheap kill in pvp . It’s like any contest. As long as you put points on the board is what counts. Something I might add that (very rarely)happens . Having other ways to kill first, aside from pointing and shooting is always better in pvp. I can clearly recall when speed and quickness didn’t depend on what class it was. Your build along with certain abilities accompanied by your mobility stat made any class dangerous. It should be that way again. In my opinion. If you know a pvp game like this then tell me so I can go download it right now.

Congrats, u described another AAA game with more balance.

I play cod. It’s not even close to being as good as destiny 2 . I’m not knowledgeable enough to know if it’s the engine or mechanics. Not even close. Destiny for what ever reason has changed by nerfs to accommodate those who go about playing pvp as though it’s some skill to use mods, cp and programs to aim and shoot quickly and efficiently. It’s not a skill. It’s being able to afford the tools and knowledge of said tools to use in video games. That’s why there’s a prevalent use of weapons you described. To attempt to combat them.

To attempt to combat them.[/quote] Remember when I said I was a destiny fan boy and needed to take a 2 month break to realize the lack of quality in destiny. The last 53 days you have played 50 with an average of 20ish games a day. Can you honestly say you don’t have rose colored glasses and a mild case of Stockholm syndrome. Cause I’ve never known anyone who’s left the game for more than a month and returned to it. Not without a massive update and complete rework to the sandbox. That alone should tell you everything u need to know about the game. It’s fine for ppl to take breaks but to take a break try again and never touch it…. Like what you like but at least acknowledge the blind devotion yourself and so many other players have.

I couldn’t and wouldn’t perceive to know your mindset based on a year of your playing time. I’ve played Destiny since it was introduced. I’ve played through everything from mass effects halo, deux , to all fallouts to Skyrim several times on several versions . Meaning I have played a lot of what I enjoy and I have paid my hard earned money on. I like destiny as a whole. I like pvp the least . It was much fun before the nerfs. It’s designed to play a lot in order to get the most out of it. So I do. No apologies. Or I would not play it if it were not a good game. And openly admitting that u will over look it’s faults kinda defeats the idea that ur capable of forming any thought that another game is better. The purpose of any conversation is to get someone to see your point of view but if your whole argument is “I’m a fan boy and I’ll love this game no matter what” what’s the point of even engaging.
