Hey! We do recruitment a little differently in my clan. We find just pulling people from forums and inviting them to the clan has a very poor retention rate, so instead you are welcome to join the clan discord and join us for a raid or some pvp etc and see if we are a good fit for you, and you for us.
Let me know if you're interested through DM, if not, good luck in your clan search!

Agreed! It’s more about the fit than the skill level. We do the same type thing. Some people don’t mesh with one another and it’s best to learn before someone joins

100% We've had some great people join us from forums, but too many clan jumpers and seriously weird people, so we started a vetting process.

Not just that. Some really good players are super toxic and get a pass for that reason. I’ve left a few groups for that reason. I’m not the best or the worst but I know it’s a game and everyone has done something for the first at some point so don’t be a dbag when they have trouble

So if you're not good or die a lot do you get kicked? We've all been there via lfg just wondering if you use this to weed out players that aren't as "skilled" or are you really looking for good people for the clan?

Its a fair question, but the process isnt to judge skill. We are more looking to see if the person is rude, constantly talking political and ridiculing others beliefs etc. End of the day we play destiny to escape the BS of real life. We accept any skill level and teach any part of the game. We just wanna make sure people are chill, but it works both ways, we want the player to join us on a raid or whatever and decide he/she WANTS to join the clan. Vetter retention rate that way, so ive found.
