It's like you people just starting playing yesterday. Warlocks can't spam sh!t. We don't have a single thing in out kit in any subclass that instantly refills an ability like titans and hunters do. Please stop the lies. Also they are giving traces to them too so we dont even have that to ourselves anymore. -

Combine that with amplified chain melee and you get 6 or more ionic traces. Grenades apply jolt? Ooh boy I wonder what’ll happen if you use that with literally any of the arc grenades. The only way other classes will make ionic traces is through a fragment. That will be no where near as efficient as stormtrance or instantly debuffing large groups with jolt. Think of how fast super will come back just by throwing a grenade. I’m gonna be doing gms with arc lock this season, and although it probably won’t be as good as titan, it’ll still be really freaking good. Not to mention arc souls exist for suppressive fire and probably count as arc ability kills for ionic traces. Such a bad take, the ionic trace fragment hasn’t even been detailed to us yet. It’ll probably be like “grenade multikills make ionic traces” or something bad like that.

The days are long gone where stormtrance is needed to clear trash adds. It's always been bad against orange bars let alone majors and ultras. Arc warlock has been in a bad spot for as long as arc hunter. Stop the copium. -
It may not be needed to clear trash adds, but it is fun, will now make an insane amount of ionic traces, good if you are overwhelmed, it will be amazing for orbs of power, and already I like the looks of the gameplay loop. Ionic trace spam while getting amplified looks amazing, not to mention the damage resist that comes with it. Overall I like the look of it so far, and all though it isn’t the best, it is still way better than subclasses have been in the past. It will be viable, even without the artifact mods. I’m calling it now, it will be good. All we can do is wait and see though.

Edited by RageMonster2569: 8/24/2022 1:16:15 PMOk I’ll admit, after playing with all three classes I have found titan to be the most boring, warlock to be pretty underwhelming, and hunter to be pretty good. Arc warlock will probably be just as effective as before, maybe a little more, but it is still overshadowed by other subclasses. I bet chaos reach will be buffed to bring it up to speed (pun intended) with the other dps supers. Arcstrider arcstaff got a huge duration increase, something I personally love. The titan just feels weird if you use the thruster. Overall it seems fine with thundercrash, but I was hoping for a fist buff. On the other hand, combination blow at like 2 stacks with liars handshake you can one shot an overload champ that is not stunned in legend lost sectors, and stacking amplified damage resist with resilience will help you stay alive a lot, I see arc hunter being usable in end game pve. Overall, warlock is pretty meh, so I guess you were right, at least for now. When they do buff chaos reach (they totally will) you will be shocked at how good it is (pun intended again) Edit: okay I just checked Reddit to see how other people feel about arc 3.0, and I saw a thread about how chaos reach does more damage if the enemy is jolted, it was doing around 500k damage when jolted, and 360k when the target wasn’t. I’m gonna test damage numbers on the grasp ogre when I get home, but this may make arc 3.0 feel better on warlock. I’ll put the numbers here after the test.

I know full well that warlocks have to jump through 3x as many hoops to achieve have the results of titan and hunter. Both of them get their full melee back for free without an exotic or fragments ect ect. Have you not seen the titan throwing hammer spam that does an asston of damage? Have you not seen hunter dodge/melee/grenade infinite loop they have for free? How they instantly get their knife back if they land a headshot, which isn't hard to do since the thing auto aims and bounces off surfaces. Meanwhile warlocks need to build max strength/discipline and pray on the rng of exotics to be able to do half of what titans and hunters can. Kinderguardians I swear smh -
we are talking of arc, and warlocks spam more nades and supers than other 2 classes, for what we know atm , and warlocks are still the best stasis and void class for pve , warlock losed the easy mode for pve this season with solar titan , i mean warlock pve meta is boring after 3 years , a raid team will always have titans / warlocks unlike hunters who are not really needed , so sad that warlocks are getting the hunter cry virus smh

You can lie to yourself and that's fine. But don't lie to the forums. When was the last time you even saw an arc warlock in any activity? Even pre 3.0 arc warlocks all but disappeared after the chaos reach/geomag nerf. Warlocks don't spam sh!t that's all titan and hunter. You'd know that simply by playing the damn game. -
i mean, why some one will use arc lock in pve when stasis and void are super broken? and when inside raid well is a must have , as a warlock player is really sad see warlocks cry for no really reason , the only good cry for lock is dawnblade cry

If you think well is a must have then you are a potato that sucks at your class. I adamantly refuse to use well in most raid groups unless I know I'm playing with inexperienced people and I'm the only warlock in the group. I've seen more hunters in both pve and pvp than warlocks for months. You people really don't understand how warlock is the least played class and there are nearly 2x as many hunters as there are titans and warlocks. Hunter is so easy to play in every facet of the game that if you b!tch and moan on a hunter then destiny isn't the game for you.
