YES and NO. You are absolutely right on the part that DIM have such option (and it’s very useful) but it only works if you’re out of played activity. Personally, I change my loadout during a pvp match (sometimes several time) due to tactical reasons. And since DIM does NOT work while pvp games are already in progress… then the only option that is left is to do it… manually in the menu… In summary, DIM work perfectly fine but it has limitations. And those limitations could be solved by this idea of in-game loadouts.

Oh I fully realize this. And DIM isn’t the only app to do this, either. But, my dude, doesn’t it seem backward that in this day and age of technology a game has to rely on outside apps to do something that should be done IN GAME? Regardless of whatever apps exist that do everything from manage your items to make you tea, nothing that can be done IN GAME should be done through a third party app. 🤷🏽‍♂️ this isn’t 1993, where people were still discovering what the internet could do and how to write code properly. I mean, shoot, even a game like POKÉMON GO has a better inventory sorting system than Destiny. It really shouldn’t be this hard to manage armor, weapons and items in game ….

Yeah I know, but let's face it most the story isn't even in the game so this shouldn't be a surprise. I'd rather they worked on the game to actually make it work correctly.

Clearly they’ve been doing that. Crucible, Gambit and Trials are proof of how much resources they’re pumping to make the game work better 🙄
