For the last week I had gotten 6 (and counting) messages advertising “carry services” where you pay for help. If I’m not mistaken, wasn’t this an issue that Bungie was trying to prevent and negate? I think it’s really annoying that all I get in my Bungie mail box are these types of messages! I report, block, and leave the conversations but another just comes in it’s place and the process is being repeated. Every time I’ve went to the “persons” profile (to block the account) they have one low level guardian which just means they are a bot account only meant to advertise this service. On top of this some lfg postings are still advertising these services as well! I don’t know how you can prevent this really but, since Bungie has mentioned cracking down on these advertisements in the past, there must be something they can do.
Same people/sites keep popping up on fireteams too. All MMOs suffer from this. There's no easy answer, you could play whack a moke on accounts, but probably not practicable.

 • what they can do is take down the paid carry sites that advertise on places like youtube because they are breaking TOS.

 • maybe, but I thought there was a specific line in their TOS about offering paid services or something like that.

 • They can put a stop to these messages by giving us privacy setting that allow us to limit who can message us to friends, clanmates and fireteam members. They can stop them from joining fireteams by allowing fireteam creators to add a level requirement as these accounts are always new and at 1350. I honestly don't think they want to stop them because they would lose out on the money and playtime these carry sites bring them.
