Lol I’m a warlock main since forever…. U lost me when u said solar is weak. Solar fulmination/revitalizing blast coupled with dawn chorus is absolutely insane, melts champions in seconds solar fulmination coupled with ember of char/double fusion grenade explosions and starfire protocol is also so OP Then try well with ignition on super fragment coupled with solar weapon, constant ignitions. Need I go on?

  • Unfortunately all of those require seasonal mods and will be much weaker next weak if they even still work. Only 3 Viable Solar Warlock builds for non-patrols… - Starfire Fusion Spam - Snap Melee Spam w your choice of melee exotic - Rain of Fire auto reload DPS. Daybreak’s still a joke, Solar titans are better medics, Hunters have near constant radiant, and both hunter and Titan have ways of consistently getting ignitions to activate. Warlocks need to burn 2 abilities or stand point blank at a fat boss with snap.

  • U forgot dawn chorus with skyburners or any weapon with incandescent. No need for seasonal mods either. Void literally has one good endgame pve build: controverse hold So if we are comparing, I still see solar being just as good at a minimum if not better overall

A build that requires seasonal mods to be effective is not a good build. It will be -blam!- next season in PVE, solar 3.0 warlock is only long time viable in PvP. An actual good set of builds for example that doesn’t require any seasonal mods in pve are: contraverse hold, loreley, osmiomancy, omnioculous, synthos, Phoenix protocol etc Builds that are currently only viable because of seasonal mods both pve and PvP: starfire, Calibans hand, wormhusk, and many many more. Once arc 3.0 rolls around these builds will be mediorce at best. Worm husk won’t be as strong, starfire will be inefficient to use outside of boss dps with its base fusion damage like it always has had, and Calibans will be even more -blam!- than it already is until they fix it’s bugs. If you can’t use solar 3.0 warlock effectively in GM’s without artifact mods it’s not good. Phoenix protocol will legit be the only viable gm solar lock build next season because the only way you’ll be able to heal with starfire is if you configure it so, but then you sacrificing nade spam for nade sacrifice for heal which. You’ll need extra help from team in order to even stay alive with it as opposed to how you can use it now. That build is carried by seasonal mods. You even attempt one of the s tier difficulty GM’s with starfire you will just be a burden next season.

  • I’ve only used void in one GM this entire season, and I’ve helped probably 100 guardians complete their first GM this season. Regardless of artifact mods, solar is not weak, the builds are strong. If u don’t see that, it’s on u at this point.

That’s great, you still aren’t gettin the point. Plus, you only have 118 GM completions total. So don’t start making up stats out the blue without evidence to back it up. You’ve gilded your conqueror 3 times since chosen. You haven’t carried 100 people. Again proving my point that you and every other toxic keyboard warrior with made up stats can’t seem to understand.

I love that you searched my stats…. And sure maybe it’s been less than 100 guardians but it’s been a lot, I like helping people in this community. That includes helping players see that they are wrong at times. And in this situation ur just wrong, solar is just as strong as void for warlocks.

  • Double fusions has been around since before the rework and will still work 🤦‍♂️ Phoenix protocol is for solar… Wells are kinda mandatory for 98% of pve teams doing end game… Since when are solar warlocks bad in pve?

  • Warlock with rain of fire are still a really good option in both pvp and pve. They'll be one of the two options to have access to restoration x2 (the other one being loreley) and you can give it to mate. You also avec free radiant buff and in air accuracy for fusion AND free all weapon reload on icarus. Starfire is still an option, you will have to remember how to play without restoration but the damage is still really high. PS : they "fixed" caliban it it work i would say 85% of the time, just some time ennemies don't explode for some reasons but it rare.
