The devs play every class. Every dev at bungie has a favorite class. The team didn’t just collectively come together and go haha hunters win lol

People who say Hunters are the favorite don’t seem to realize they get nerfed the most.

Literally though. Like let’s all try to remember where hunter was pre-3.0, shall we? Arcstrider - easily the worst subclass in the game. Like I’m sorry, but that entire subclass got left in the dust when Shadowkeep landed and only got worse over time. This is the first breath of life it’s had in years. Gunslinger - only really viable in PvP. Blade Barrage was -blam!- for just as long as arcstrider was, six shot was worthless in PvE, and three-shot was only good with Celestial or Star-eaters, both of which were vastly outpaced by Falling Star anyways. Nightstalker - only decent subclass in PvE, and even then it was only for invis omni spam. This was the utility, endgame PvE hunter class (and, btw, that was ONLY with bottom tree because of the invis smoke bomb), and even then it paled compared to Well or Bubble or Ursa shields. There’s a very good reason why hunters are the least commonly used class in GMs. Also worth noting that Spectral Blades was the only viable path in PvP, and was worthless everywhere else. Revenant - while it was busted with Shatterdive, that’s kind of all it had. Since the nerf to that ability - which, don’t get me wrong, the game ABSOLUTELY needed and it never should’ve been that strong in the first place - but since then, it’s just not even remotely held a candle to what a good Shadebinder build can do. People seem to think that hunters were/are good because of dodge and stompees, and the “eNhAnCeD mOvEmEnT”. And while there may be some truth in that - uh, hello, THAT’S BASICALLY ALL HUNTERS HAD??? Oh, and for all the warlock mains crying their eyes out about blink and ionic traces no longer being exclusive - -blam!- TITANS JUST GOT THE ACTUAL HUNTER DODGE ABILITY, and do you HONESTLY see anyone on this platform crying about that? I usually don’t get involved in the class wars - mainly because I play all three and enjoy them all, so I really don’t give two shits about it - but holy hell are the warlock mains ever the biggest crybabies in this community. I’m sorry, but they really are. “oUr IdEnTiTy” grow the fück up. Your new arc 3.0 abilities look phenomenal AND YOU HAVEN’T EVEN HAD THE CHANCE TO USE THDM YET.

How many upvotes they got. When someone mention hunter needs a buff, dozens of downvotes. And every discussion end like: „Hah. I know you‘re a hunter main (insert stupid emoji). You‘re always crying (another annoying emoji).“ This whole seasons showed which were the real crybabies. The next season won‘t change that. How long they cried about the hunter dodge? Cried and moaning for remove or nerfs. So bungie gave both classes now a similar ability. No post here that complain about the air dodge for wahlocks or the new dodge for titans. Wahlocks also admit they got unique abilities compared to the other classes. Now they have to share some abilities and acting like surprised Pikachus. Really a crab mentality syndrome if you ask me. „If i can‘t have it, neither can you“.
