I think the “improve Grenade” thing is what happens whenever Bungie runs out of ideas.
It is fit to the class not by being a grenade upgrade, but which and how it upgrades them.

Maybe I'm boring, but I would have liked to see "Improved Grenades" for all classes in all subclasses. Each empowering their own class grenades. Like for example, for Solar Titan; Incendiary and Thermite Grenades.

Can't wait for the tears when that happens.

They’ll probably do that eventually, honestly. But they’re doing 3 per class, and that’s that. The best part of the new 3.0 system is that Bungie could just add a new aspect whenever they want in the future. People need to calm down and let it play out. Class identities are not set yet. Right now, they’re just adding old stuff to the new system more or less. I’m the future, I think that there’ll be more synergy in the designs, much like stasis.

Aye, the Aspect / Fragment system is really modular and easy to expand on.

Edited by LoITheMan: 8/19/2022 12:06:03 AMI’d really like to see an aspect for warlock where you can consume your grenade to create the healing turret from the glaive, maybe if you consume a healing grenade it returns some grenade energy. Give back some of that old warlock gameplay, but with a new twist. They can do things like that now, and balance strong abilities with less fragments.

Lets hope that once they are done with class reworks, they can move some of that energy to further improving and expanding the updated subclasses. With the framework being done, it's just matter of creating class new aspects to flesh out class identities, like yours, for example.

My biggest fear is that they’re going to move on to the next subclass (Vapour, Strand, whatever the leak of the day is) and ignore the light classes again for a while. I wonder what they’re doing the season after arc launches. There’s still plenty of issues. Even Stasis is gonna be in a weird place with only 1 super, 1 melee, and no unique class abilities.
