I've had to resort to a specific app titled: DIM (Destiny Item Manager) for equipping loadouts.
The app is kinda slow when swapping loadouts but it does the job and you can customise multiple loadouts. it would be super useful to have this implemented in-game.

The whole DIM interface should be in the game. Bungle should take some of the cash that Luke Smith throws at the screen, buy it off the DIM creators and then incorporate it into Destiny. Destiny is the only game I play on Xbox where I need to have a PC just to manage my inventory.

Edited by Olórin: 8/18/2022 6:20:49 PMEven then somehow my DIM app is using in-game features that even the playerbase are unable to access unless they go to a specific location in the game. If im doing a GM/Dares farm, the app will warn me if my postmaster is almost full with the exactly number of loot pending to be recieved and can be transfered with a click of a button on the app... ... How and why is not a feature already in the game? Same for loadouts, the app can swap loadouts/aspects/fragments with a touch of a button yet this isn't yet implemented in-game? Bungie sitting back letting third party apps do all the work is a bit lazy if im being honest but not suprising to me lol
Bungie sitting back letting third party apps do all the work is a bit lazy if im being honest but not suprising to me lol
Exactly right. Lazy is the word... And why do we still have to buy, sell or even delete items one at a time? For example, want to buy 500 spinmetal? Get ready for a marvelous 100 button pushing session because we don't have a Bulk User Interface to specify multiple quantities to buy or sell.

Yeah the most simplest of implementations in just selecting the amount to delete and confirming the amount. Obviously I'm not a developer but even games that aren't considered AAA titles have the ability to select the amount you wish to delete of a certain ite.
