Just to hammer away at these but teleport could be cool but typically abilities like this are situational at best. New melees are cool but that requires a melee charge and so does the teleport you mentioned above so the synergy at cost value sounds non existent Arc souls have always been trash and are really only good at killing thralls Landfall and ionic is cool but no transcendence so the super is going to last as long as I do and let me tell you that is not a good thing. Also stormcaller as a super is only good at killing trash ads which we dont need supers for anymore so its a very low tier super. Ionic traces are cool but we already had those before but now these require arc weapon/ability kills which before they only required kills in general. I personally dont care which class is the best but when you take away transcendence and then pulsewave and then arc web and add very little in return to a class that is hardly used I dont know what you expected? And before you say "ArC WeB iS a FrAgMeNt" no arc web gave grenade arc chaining and grenade energy per chain that happened. Jolt simply just gives the grenade chaining so a nerf.

Two of the Best Warlock have been removed Perpetual Charge. (Recharge Grenade energy on melee kills and vice versa,) but hey hunters having infinite Melees with Jolt+DOT A.O.E? Totally balanced Electrostatic Mind (was something different,) aoe damage around you on super activition. I don't even wanna go into the Hunter Synergy. Warlocks got shafted how? Arc 3.0 was made with Hunters in mind clearly . Again Warlock are an afterthought, hence the Hunter bais people call out

    Try melee wellmaker, elemental charge, heavy handed, and x2 well of striking (or replace 1 with 1x well of ions). As long as you collect the well, you will have almost no downtime on your melee. Match this with some synergizing exotics, and that’s how buildmaking works.

  • Hey so i appreciate the thought however traditionally heavy handed does not work on these abilities like the titan slide melee ability. So while yes ball lightning and chain could have great uptime this is not the case for the new ability and thats where the negative synergy concern appears.

  • Really? That’s doesn’t feel right. The Hunter’s makeshift explosive triggers grenade abilities. That feels like an oversight, hopefully one they’ll fix.

We are used to being shafted and having Bungie say "It WAS A BUG," okay there Bethasda, "Bug or Feature?" response-"yes," --- There are many things for Warlocks that seem like it would syngerize but don't and never get fixed which makes most Warlocks believe it wasn't a Bug, but a feature mean to limit the "Versatility of a Class,"

  • This is what i fear as well. But i do believe it does work on the arcstrider tempest strike. That said, the build this guy is talking about is pretty dope when paired claws of ahamkara. Hopefully the aspect works with the melee or else i dont know what to think anymore.

  • I mean it doesnt work on any non instant melee ability tempest is an instant ability unlike shiver strike and consecration which heavy handed doesnt work with. So chances are this will be the same situation

  • Dude. Run mods then. A huge part of the arc armor synergy is returning your melee charge, and Bungie knows this. It’s why they give you a crazy melee. Just like how Void returns a ton of class ability energy so we got the op shield and void orb tied to our class abilities.

  • This doesnt make sense as ability spamming is very much in the game. Youre talking about something that was giving 2% grenade energy per chain vs the fact that hunters can straight up have permanent uptime on melee abilities
