My brother in light, they are not getting shafted. We don't even have it in our hands yet and it's being decried as the worst nerf since Solar 3.0, which only has the issue of lackluster Dawnblade.

  • Except they're not coming to take away half your abilities. We get amplified and speed boost. We get Concussion built-in to Blind now, we get Arc Web repurposed to Jolt, Titan and Warlock got a new Melee and Hunter finally got a new, different Arc Super + Blink jump as a return to D1 ability. Everyone now has Ionic Traces. Titans have an intrinsic air-dodge without requiring an exotic. Warlocks have Top and Bottom tree Stormtrance merged into one more powerful Super with both Landfall and Ionic Blink Titans have Fist of Havoc abilities merged, Hunters have Arcstaff abilities merged With Amplify, Warlocks Melee abilities gain extra power. Titans have a new forward-facing shield that gets stronger under Amplify. Hunters recharge dodge faster when amplified. Warlock Arc Soul also has Electrostatic Surge included. Pulsewave is made redundant with Amplify, which no longer requires a critical state. Rising Storm is not necessary with how abundant Ionic Traces are now. The literal only thing you're missing is Transcendence. And in trade for literally everything else, you're gaining far more than you lose.

  • This isn't even comparable. They took that out but gave a void shatterdive lol. We already know what the aspects do and nothing is replacing what was lost. We don't know what fragments provide but those are for everyone so even if it does exist there it's a net loss for warlocks. Ultimately the problem is everyone else gained something cool and new. Hunters a new super, blink n such. Titans get a booster jet pack, overshield for running and so on. What did warlocks gain? Enhanced versions of what they already had. A melee that probably has a very long cd that teleports them. No actual new low cd movement options like the other 2 received. I don't even care about arc warlocks and I don't intend to play it but I can see why this has people pissed. You can't give 2 classes shiny new toys and take from the 3rd while not giving them much overall and expect them to not be pissed.

  • Do you even know what heart of the pack is ? It has nothing to do with shadowdive. It's literally the same thing as saying they removed arc web but it's ok they added that orb melee teleportation whatever as an aspect.

  • I didn't say they were the same mechanic. I said you lost something n gained something very good. The point is what are warlocks gaining that remotely outweighs the things lost/given to other classes.

  • Shadowdive is not very good. You've better outcome by just throwing the smoke. And you can't say your new ability is bad when you haven't tested it.

  • You don't seem to comprehend that hunters n titans gained a spammable movement tool. Warlocks gained something tied to your melee cooldown. Titans will be thrustering around, hunters blinking, warlocks oh every minute or two you can do a teleport lol.

  • Blink is just a jump, it's not good in PvE and only in PvP if you're a good player (most of us will just keep regular jumps). People are just over reacting on that one. Then titan dash is not spamable as it is a class ability.

  • Oh you basically don't pvp so you are just going on about this from a pve view. I guess you wouldn't care then since the amplify abilities thing will be constant in pve.
