Chain was never part of the warlock identity.
Dunemarchers do it.
Arcstrider does it since day 1 of D2.
Riskrunner.
Trinity ghoul.
Warmind cells.
Also you are gaining blind ...which warlock never had.

Chaining lightening was always with warlocks way before D2 was a thing...saying chain lightening was never the warlocks identity is a lie
-
It was also with hunters in D1 since day 1. Arcbolt nade.
-
Nope, arc bolts in d1 for hunters. And in d2 it was never their identity either because we had chaining options on other classes and in riskrunner. The identity argument is invalid.
-
Arc-bolt grenade doesn't chain, chain lightening is when you hit someone with lightening and then that same lightening that is hitting that target, hits another target, Arc-bolt doesnt do that. So once again, Chain lightening was always exclusively for warlocks, before bungie decided to take it slowly away from the warlocks identity and give it to other things in the game.
-
Arc bolt nade literally chains lightning.

Edited by Draconalu: 8/19/2022 1:03:43 AMA grenade that chains bolts of lightning to nearby enemies, tidying up groups of hostiles. KeywordS CHAINS BOLTS OF LIGHTNING. Identity argument still invalid.

Arcstrider?
-
Lethal current has chained lightning since season 1.
-
Ah ok. Its more an aftershock than a chain, since it only applies on enemies hit with the orginal attack. Imkinda sad lethal current got a nerf, but all the other stuff is looking really crazy.
-
Lethal current chains to nearby enemies though.
-
Im pretty sure it doesnt. Ive been maining it for years and never noticed any 'chains' going out.
-
Ive been maining it since day 1. And it always had lightning chain out. Its difficult to see since its range is 1 meter...and the hits and kills themself flash so much but the shockwave is a chain lightning.
-
Wow damn. Its not a chain, but its a definetly a small AOE effect I've never noticed before. It does around 66% damage of the attack so it seems. Thats really dope

While other classes gains health regen upon kill
-
Health regen procs via the reversal perk on bottom tree arc titan. With insurmountable skullfort, any arc melee regens health. Not warlock specific
-
Hunter had health regen on kill since day 1 on arc melee kill

Just run karnstien with a glaive and become the best a warlock can be
