How do you look at an abundance of Jolt (Which is the Arc Chaining, remember) and Arc Soul + Ionic Trace generation and say "Warlock bad" plus you get an Arc Bomb power as melee now and that sounds freaking amazing.

Amazing in vanguard ops maybe. Day 1 arc 3.0, hop on your warlock and do a solo flawless duality. When you fail, because arc 3.0 sucks, then you can trash warlock mains for hating that we got nothing cool.

It's not a strawman, arc isn't good at pve endgame and the changes don't change that.

Arc -was- good at PvE Endgame until 3.0 made the others better. Titans still use Thundercrash, and I remember when Chaos Reach was mandatory for Proving Grounds GM paired with Ursa Bannershield. We don't even have the new changes yet and it's being decried as the greatest warlock nerf since Solar 3.0, which wasn't really a nerf except for Dawnblade. Remember how suddenly Blade Barrage was the go-to Super that out-damaged Nighthawk now? That wasn't even mentioned in the patch notes, and we don't have TWAB yet so there might still be a buff to Chaos Reach's damage in PvE. The strawman is from your immediate jump to "Do Solo Flawless on Day 1 then" when you should know that's a terrible idea because we don't even have all the Artefact mods on Day 1 let alone the various dumb ways to die that are irrelevant to subclass like the abusive physics blasts and issue where you randomly die during the bell teleports.

Even then, it's wildly outclassed by blade barrage, golden gun, Thundercrash, and tether with Orpheus rigs. I could make a good run at going flawless in a dungeon with void 3.0 and solar 3.0, no mods necessary because there are no champions. I wouldn't even try with arc. Just because it's the warlock's best DPS super doesn't mean that it's good. Our supers are bottom tier DPS.
