Im not making any judgments at all until i see it all in action which is only fair!
However, for the new Hunter super, you have missed the chance to give hunters some team play utility! The concept is great. So what you could do is, add an effect to team that stands in your arcstaff’s arc field. Titans got the bubble, warlocks the well of radiance. So why not give hunters the same.
You could just make it as simple as while in the area of effect for the staff, team and you become amplified and gain increased resistance to damage(something reasonable yet sizeable enough). This would allow for raid teams to reload much faster and utilise their abilities better!
Then each class has 1 area lock down super that also doubles as utility/buff for you and team! And ironically one for each different light based class.
P.S. if DR sounds like too much. Then amplify and supercharge the recharge rates for all abilities. Arc amping your recharge times seems like a good fit!

Back with the Nightstalker reveal in D1, I believe that the devs described the subclass as the support role hunters were missing at the time. Not saying that it’s accurate now, but I wonder if they’ve had the same mindset since then.
