I resent, but Queen-Breakers isn’t and will not be at home in the heavy weapons slot. Keeping it in the heavy slot, only does it injustice. First of all, it is one of the many exotics that I love but never really use it. First of all I am not a PvP player. This is because I simply do not agree, with having meta dictate what I can and cannot use if I want to have fun.. no I don’t wanna be forced to play meta to have even the slightest chance of winning, No I don’t consider loosing nearly every match, because I wasn’t using proper meta load-outs to be fun. But getting back on the main topic, Queen-breakers isn’t really doing much in the heavy slot. It to me is calling to be placed into the special slot, it is like it is the one missing piece that has been accidentally shipped in the wrong puzzle box. If we look at what this weapon does, it has two, maybe three main things that it does. It can; swap between its two sights, Shoot a bolt that blinds any enemy on hit, and for the maybe.. it can switch between hip-fire Grip and QuickDraw perks. But that is basically it. Dissecting these three things, the ability to swap between scopes is cool, but I think that it should be a hold x to swap the scope rather than having to go into its inspect screen, which is a night mare on old-gen with loading. This doesn’t really do anything that affect the game to bad that it should be put into the heavy slot, since this is an exotic it still eats up the exotic slot. For the blinding shot, it doesn’t really warrant Heavy weapon either. Because remember it is an exotic weapon that can blind only one target at a time. Annoying? Yes, but if that is all it does remember we have blinding grenade launchers that do the same thing but arguably a little better. I don’t think that the fact the queens breaker can do damage, really out weighs grenade launchers enough to warrant Heavy weapon status. Remember this is also taking up an arguable valuable Exotic slot. Well the fact it can swap it’s first perk doesn’t really do anything or make this weapon deserve heavy weapon. In that last brick of text I said that the things that the weapon can do, don’t really do enough to warrent Heavy Exotic weapon. I think that it being migrated into the special slot would practically put this weapon exactly where it needs to be. Because if we think in PvP, which is where people will probably fear it’s use most. It isn’t really going to be that powerful, I mean if you are really worried about this thing breaking the crucible, then maybe we should look into moving things like the; jotun, Le monarch, Arbalest, telesto, Lorenz Driver, into the heavy slot. Because queen breaker would really put class these weapons, it would probably be a little behind a lot of these weapons. Hell it would arguably be behind Lorenz driver after it got nerfed. Well in PvE, it isn’t doing enough damage as it is I. The heavy slot, but if it were moved to the special slot, it would actually make a little more sense. I have been wanting to have this change forever, I will never believe the queens-breaker to be a heavy weapon. Along side it’s brothers Arbalest, and Lorenz Driver. It should be a special weapon. Maybe even to intrinsic Overload, though that may be a little much. But then again maybe not. Obviously the Damage output on this weapon would have to be toned down to warrent this change, but honestly I don’t think that matters. This weapon is kinda more like a sniper than a linear fusion. I feel like it should be doing around the same damage as sniper rifles with its Big damage shots mode, then if you are in the panther mode with the quicker shots less damage, it would do more damage that Blind grenade launchers but not one shot body to an acolyte kind of damage. This way the quicker shot could be used to focus on mainly blinding the target rather than outright kill them. I dunno there could be a better way to balance it but it’s the best so could come up with at the moment. But seriously, this weapon should be put into the special slot. Revised as a special weapon
