Beyond Light's deluxe edition gave you access to the seasonal content for seasons 12, 13, 14 and 15, but all that seasonal content has been removed from the game, the activities and seasonal mission chains are gone.
So there is nothing there to upgrade Beyond Light to, and so that old product has been retired.
Also you're not buying anything from Bungie so not sure which contact channel you used, this forum is the correct place.

That's Beyond whack. It's even more whack that I would've been able to buy the deluxe if I didn't buy the legacy edition. I really just wanted the exotic from it and the sparrow.

Why would you have been able to buy it? I'm a bit confused. The Beyond Light deluxe product was withdrawn when Witch Queen launched, due to Beyond Light's seasonal content being removed. it is nothing to do with owning the standard version. The standard version IS the fullest version now, to all intents. By Exotic, do you mean No Time to Explain? All Beyond Light owners can get this. Exo Stranger gives it to you when you finish the Beyond Light campaign. You wanted the Any Other Sky swallow? That's unfortunate but it is no longer available.
