Lol, thinking Bungie will give you the option to solo strikes just so you can complete bounties.

On PlayStation we already have the option. It’s in our time settings 😂😂😂🤦🏿♂️

I know PS can alter the time and/or date to do strikes solo, but that's a bit different from Bungie giving an in-game option to solo strikes.

Oh I know. And something Bungie will never do. Just glad I had that option in those rare occurrences I even run a strike

That's the issue Most peoples will use this to grind bounty and leave mid strike They know this because peoples already do this in the regular strike playlist

Why's that something Bungie should be concerned with? It's not an exploit, it's not a cheat, there is no loot involved so it's not very likely that majority will do it (farming weapons is the main incentive, remember?). Bungie isn't negatively affected by players missing out on loot at the end.

Because its their game and that's not something they want player to do ...why you think bounty no longer give rep ? They are slowly going away from the bounty system And again they won't add more "server " for peoples to play alone and not complete the activity

Slowly was the key word here Maybe you forgot but crucible/gambit and vanguard bounty used to give rep Also this is a well known tactic to change stuff bit by bit so the backlash isn't as big and can be revert if a problem occur Also they been saying time and time again that bounty grind isn't what they want the player to do They said it

Any source on what Bungie wants with bounty system? As in, an official statement? A hint from, idk, Dmg, Cosmo, Hippy? If you can't provide either, every word on the subject of what Bungie wants is just a speculation and wild guess. Speaking of more server power, isn't that where player's money and money from Sony goes to, among other things? Bungie doesn't care about completions, only about number of satisfied players, and many would be satisfied with a solo option. Satisfied players are likely to spend money.

Or you can look at the previous change, them removing exp on thrall way and the leaks about changing level system .... Games have patterns that fit the game philosophy... Its easy to predict the future with what happened in the past Not everything is going to be clearly be told ...that's just how stuff works..my guy They have a vision and work toward it ....

Thrall xp was removed due to people afk farming. Has literally nothing to do with solo option in strikes. And, source on the leaks would be...? Rest of your reply fits the description of speculations and wild guesses. It's just that, without any official word from Bungie.

They said it at least twice in 2 different video I can't source it or care enough Its not gonna happen that's all The game is cooperative not play alone

The game can be cooperative and have an option for doing missions and activities solo. Many, many other games do that successfully, even indie titles, and Bungie counts as AAA developer. Besides, if the game truly rewards cooperative play, speeders wouldn't be able to play solo anyway, as they do now.

Yea cause those games are build that way Destiny team based gameplay is in the lore of the game .... You guys complain over getting 1 guy every 10 strike that -blam!- a bit faster .....

It's actually 1 guy every single strike. That 1 guy every single strike is the reason why my second Titan sits on floor level; lowlights never rush, and i'm more likely to gift them some kills in return. A lot of things are in the lore, like for example the handcannon Variks gave to Cayde, but that gun was never in the loot pool, anywhere, since Forsaken onwards (it's in some lore book around Forsaken era). In the lore, we've seen Quria on the Tower, but such thing never happened in-game. Hunter's Dare was always a feat Hunter had to do alone. Tl;Dr: lore isn't a reliable ground to stand on.

If you did check the gear on my second Titan, you'd notice why does it have such a low level. Has nothing to do with reward distribution, trust me.
