Think the problem is they are very easy but give pinnacle rewards for doing 3x weekly with the current burn as subclass . Seems to be a balance issue of easy content but good rewards , if rewards were on higher difficulty maybe like legend then doubt be as much speeding through . It’s very similar to how you can get Exotic Cloudstrike Sniper by running Empire Hunts but since the drop % is same no matter difficulty everyone choose to run lowest adept and fly through so can farm it in 5 minute runs, but bet if drop % was better in more difficult levels or reward of exotic sniper wasn’t in low level PVE then have way less speed runs there too .
