I was thinking about the teaser with the witness I got no clue if bungie ever straight out said that the figure in thar trailer was the witness or not as I don't spend much time watching videos, and if they did them well obviously I'm wrong But when I wrapped up the story on my titan recently I was thinking about the line of a pale heart What if yhe figure we saw wasn't the witness, their mouth was covered so we don't even know if it was them talking. Maybe it's a disciple still aligned with the darkness but what if their just a hostage of the darkness Idk just a random thought, maybe it's their heart that holds the key to ending the traveler or whatever the darknesses plan is Im kinda wondering if the figure is a being in perfect harmony between the two forces. Yin and yang kinda deal with that being portrayed by the billowing black smoke and the white complection Random spinfoil hat theory
