And yes, it's possible that those were full of human bodies. I say "were" because during the last Boss Fight we open them and Loot falls, so probably the bodies were removed in order to make space for it. As another user already told you, the Titan in the Pod is Wilhelm-7. He went mad for greedy and killed almost all his companions[i] (some of them kill each other, for example the Titan Pershing was killed by the Hunter Pershing)[/i] and fired to its own Ghost, Bismark.
